Book review - REAL Marriage by Mark and Grace Driscoll
I have a review finally of this book by Mark Driscoll and his wife Grace Driscoll. I have to say that I was waiting to read this book because as he was writing it he talked about the process on twitter, so when I had the chance to receive a free copy to review from Booksneeze, I jumped on it!
I have to also mention that I am a big fan of Pastor Mark. I love the way he preaches and have always felt that he tells it like it is.
I thought this book was good, it had a lot of information and I have to agree that being friends with your spouse is very important. I have to agree that men can know that a woman loves them, and be miserable, because he does not feel like she LIKES him. I found the second part of the book that deals with sex and all the things you were afraid to ask a little much, and I did not come from a Christian or religious background! But I do agree that it probably needs to be mentioned, I am sure that there are those who want to know and they deal with each of these things extremely sensitively. I would have to say that all in all it was worth the read!
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com <http://BookSneeze®.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
